All in an Instant

There were moments when Jemima Hoadley’s self-choreographed solo for Wreckless Arts that were scratchily uncomfortable to watch. Which was presumably the point as Hoadley, a performer with a strikingly timeless presence, appeared to be roaming around the borders of obsessive compulsive disorder with twitchy, repetitive moves…. There was an unnerving sense of voyeurism at play and at times the self-absorption was alienating, but Hoadley succeeded in whetting the appetite for a full length group version.
